Upcoming eventsWorker Justice Center Lawsuit Virtual Teach-in:
NYS Vegetable Growers Association and several NY farm businesses filed a lawsuit in federal court last October challenging farmworkers' collective bargaining rights, as granted by the 2019 Farm Laborers Fair Labor Practices Act. This is a virtual teach-in for farmworker leaders, advocates, and allies to learn more about the context of this lawsuit, the legal issues it presents, and its implications for farmworker organizing in New York State and beyond. Facilitators and speakers include:
